IBM CIO Design Guide
Illustrations created for a design library based on our organization's updated branding and style. I designed a number of background images along with reusable assets for the library that other designers would have access to when starting a new illustration project. These designs are based on a light and approachable, yet confident tone.
SAP SuccessFactors
Illustrations created as banner images for different user pages for the HR tool SAP SuccessFactors. The product owner requested a lightweight style utilizing thin lines and light colors.
CIO Cloud PaaSport
Illustrations created for an internal cloud platform site. Our theme was travel and passport, as a play on the PaaSport (platform as a service) site my team was building. As the only designer on the team, I created everything from the UX, UI, illustrations, animations, and anything design related for the site. These illustrations, along with a larger set, appeared on our landing page, parts of the site UI, and email communications.
The Arlington Club
I worked with a marketing studio to create promotional and branded assets for their co-working space, an offshoot of their business. I hand-lettered their slogan "Coworking for Creatives" and incorporated it into a flowered, craft inspired design. I also took inspiration from the city's bridge architecture that the space was located near for a more industrial style.
Pacific Line app
Illustration for a mock luxury train line app I designed. I took inspiration from the colors and styles of traditional luxury rail lines and retro travel posters.
Homepage Icons
I designed a set of icons to be used for popular IBM tools on the company's internal homepage. This is a smaller subset of the collection that I designed. The previous icon set was all one color and difficult for users to differentiate. I wanted to keep the icons consistent in style and color palette, but unique enough for users that need to quickly find and access a tool.
HR & Tools Sites Icons
There was a need for a generic set of icons to be used for different categories throughout IBM HR and Tools directory sites. These icons would represent different sections of HR content and act as placeholders for sites and tools without custom icons. I used a line illustration style for these icons, so they would work well beside other style icons and content on different pages. I also used similar shapes to the Homepage icons seen above, so there would be a correlation between similar tools.
Personal Work
Illustrations I created when trying out a new style with more line-based elements. I was inspired by midcentury modern colors and decor.
